Road Closure - L6830 Birch Hill, Grenagh from Monday 6th to Friday 10th November 2023 to facilitate installation of a culvert.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L6830-0, Birch Hill, Grenagh, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 6^th November 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 10^th November 2023. (24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate installation of a culvert.

Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling South from Grenagh along the L2772-0 towards Birch Hill should divert by turning left at Quarryhall Cross onto the L-2771-31. Then traffic should continue along the L-2771-31 and L-6832-8 until the junction with Waterloo Road. At the junction traffic should turn right onto Waterloo Road/L-2773-48 and continue until the junction with L-6830-0.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Ba cheart go rachadh an trácht atá ag taisteal ó Dheas ó Ghreanach feadh an L2772-0 i dtreo Birch Hill ar mhalairt slí trí chasadh ar chlé ag Quarryhall Cross ar an L-2771-31. Ansin ba cheart go leanfadh an trácht ar aghaidh feadh an L-2771-31 agus L-6832-8 go dtí an t-acomhal atá ann le Bóthar Waterloo. Ba cheart go gcasfadh an trácht ar dheis ag an acomhal ar Bhóthar Waterloo/ L-2773-48 agus go leanfadh sé ar aghaidh go dtí an t-acomhal atá ann leis an L-6830-0.
