Road Closure - R571 Eyeries from Tuesday 19th March to Friday 26th April 2024 to facilitate Road Surfacing and Drainage Works.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below: -

Road Subject of Closure

R-571-70 Eyeries, Co. Cork - at Inches, Bofickil & Faunkill and The Woods from the junction of R-571-70 and L-4908-0 at Inches to the junction of R-571-106 and L-4910-0 at Faunkill and The Woods.

Period of Closure

From 10:00hrs on Tuesday 19^th March 2024 to 17:00hrs on Friday 26^th April 2024

(24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Road Surfacing and Drainage Works.

Alternative Routes

On the L-4908-0, L-4908-7, and L-4910-0 through Inches, Eyeries, Bofickil and Faunkill and The Woods.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
