TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-3679-0 Cliff Road, Ballycotton Village, Co. Cork – from its Intersection with the R-629-147.

Period of Closure

From 20:00hrs on Tuesday 19^th March 2024 to 06:00hrs on Friday 5^th April 2024 (Nightly Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Úisce Eireann Installation of New Gravity Main Sewer Network and Replacement of Existing Watermain.

Alternative Routes

No alternative route available.

The road will be closed nightly from 20:00hrs and will reopen in the morning time. Emergency Services will be given priority. Closure points will be manned by contractor to allow residents access when required.
