Road Closure - Part of the R613 Church Road, Carrigaline from Monday 13th March to Friday 19th May 2023 to facilitate pipelaying.

ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

 

Road Subject of Closure

R613 (Part Of) Church Road, Carrigaline, Co. Cork – between its Junction with L-9118 The Estuary Estate and its Junction with L-2492 at Coolmore Cross.

 

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 13^th March 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 19^th May 2023.

(24hr Closure).

 

Reason for Closure

To facilitate pipelaying.

 

Alternative Routes

At the Cork Road/Church Road Junction, continue northwards on the Cork Road, the R612 and R611 towards Shannonpark Roundabout.  Take the second exit off the roundabout towards Ringaskiddy and continue on the N28 towards the Port of Cork.

 

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

 

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
