TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Closure
L-2031-0 (Part) Casement Road, Bandon, Co. Cork – on the section of one-way traffic road (from the Oliver Plunkett Street junction to a point 20 metres below the upper junction of the one-way road).
Period of Closure
From 09:30hrs to 16.30hrs (Daily Closure) on Tuesday 7th February 2023 and Wednesday 8th February 2023.
Reason for Closure
To facilitate a Gas Main Connection.
Alternative Routes
Traffic intending to access the one-way section of Casement Road from Oliver Plunkett Street shall divert east along Oliver Plunkett Street, turn right onto Well Road, then approach the closed road from the opposite side.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure, where possible.
