Urgent Road Closure - Part of the L3610 Ballymacsliney, Midleton from Monday 26th February to Friday 12th April 2024 to facilitate road rehabilitation works

ROADS ACT, 1993

URGENT TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, and Article 12 (6), in Part 8 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that the urgent closure of the roads as detailed below is necessary, in the interests of public safety.

 

Roads Subject of Urgent Closure

L3610-0 (part) & L3610-25 (part) Ballymacsliney, Midleton, Co. Cork.

 

Period of Urgent Closure

From 07:30hrs on Monday 26th February 2024 to 17:00hrs on Friday 12th April 2024 (24hr Closure).

 

Reason for Urgent Closure

To facilitate road rehabilitation works following damage caused by Storm Babet.

 

Alternative Routes

Traffic coming from the North will travel along Rathguire turning left onto L3601 Oldcourt East. Traffic will turn left onto the R626, Upper Mill Road. The diversion will end at the junction of R626 & L3610.

 

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction. Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

 

You should note that this Urgent Closure does not facilitate the making of objections or observations.
