URGENT TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, and Article 12 (6), in Part 8 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that the urgent closure of the road as detailed below is necessary, in the interests of public safety.

Road Subject of Urgent Closure

L3608-0 The Glen Road, Dooneen, Leamlara, Midelton, Co. Cork.

Period of Urgent Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 26^th February 2024 to 17:00hrs on Friday 22^nd March 2024 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Urgent Closure

To facilitate road rehabilitation works following damage cause by Storm Babet.

Alternative Routes

Traffic will be diverted to L7695, L7696, L76961.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction. Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

You should note that this Urgent Closure does not facilitate the making of objections/observations.
