TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Closure
L5494, Helenas Bridge, Ballincolly Cross, Charleville, Co. Cork.
Period of Closure
From 08:00hrs on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 26th May 2023.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Closure
To facilitate Installation of new watermain.
Alternative Routes
Traffic will be diverted along the R515-0 into Charleville and take a right onto the L1326-0 Old Limerick Road. Traffic will take a right onto the N20 Cork-Limerick Road and proceed along N20 to junction with L5494 at Helenas Bridge and take a right. End of Diversion.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access may be given to dwellings to North and South of road closure for access during works if required.
