Road Closure - L1025 Paal, Kanturk from Tuesday 3rd January to Friday 3rd February 2023 to facilitate the installation of new Watermain.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

L-1025 Paal, Kanturk, Co. Cork.
Period of Closure
From 08.00hrs on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 to 18.00hrs on Friday 3rd February 2023.

Reason for Closure
To facilitate the installation of new Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling from L-1023 (Kanturk Golf Club direction) divert right onto the L-1024 towards Dromalour. At Dromalour junction turn left onto the R579 towards Kanturk Town. Continue on the R579 into Kanturk Town to the end of Strand Street. Turn left onto Main Street (L-1028) signposted Kiskeam/Boherbue. Continue on Main Street and then onto Percival Street. Continue on Percival Street and turn left after the Garda Station and Fire Station onto Mill Road L-1025.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
