Temp Stop/Go traffic light system- Junction of Brady's lane , Glasslinn Road Bandon from 12th to 26th March 2024 to facilitate raised table pedestrian crossing

TEMPORARY STOP/GO TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, Cork County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road works at the junction of Brady's lane and Glasslinn Road Bandon  Co. Cork. 

The works involve the installation of a raised table pedestrian crossing at the Glasslinn Road / Brady's lane Junction between March 12^th and March 26^th as part of the implementation of Bandon Transportation Public Realm Enhancement Plan.

Access and Two way traffic will be maintained to Brady's lane from the Oliver Plunkett St junction, There will be no access to Brady's lane from Glasslinn road for the duration of the works.

Traffic approaching the works from Glasslinn Road  – will be directed to turn left onto Finbarrs place, take the next left at Oliver Plunkett st junction and take the next left onto Bradys lane. There is no change to traffic flow when approaching Bradys lane from the eastern direction of Oliver Plunkett st.

Traffic exiting Brady's lane will be directed south bound to the Oliver Plunket St. junction where they can turn left and right to continue their journey.
