Road Closure - L4007 Clogheen, Clonakilty from Monday 29th May to Friday 23rd June 2023 to facilitate the Installation of a New Watermain.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Closure
L-4007-52 (Part of) Clogheen, Clonakilty, Co. Cork - from An Sruthán Beag to Connor’s Crossroads.
Period of Closure
From 08.00hrs on Monday 29th May, 2023 to 18.00hrs on Friday 23rd June, 2023 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a New Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Travelling towards Clonakilty - at Connor’s Crossroads, turn left onto L-8050-21 (Carhoo), take the first right onto L-8052-0 and continue to N71. Turn right onto N71. Turn right at Maxol roundabout. At next junction turn right towards Clogheen cottages.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
