Road Closure - L7639 Poulaniska, Carrigtohill from Tuesday 19th March to Friday 31st May 2024 to facilitate installation of ducting for Celtic Interconnector.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-7639 Poulaniska, Carrigtohill, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 06:00hrs on Tuesday 19^th March 2024 to 18:00hrs on Friday 31^st May 2024

(24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of ducting as part of the Celtic Interconnector Project.

Alternative Routes

Approaching from the North on L3606 Woodstock, continue on towards Carrigtohill Village until the T junction with main street Carrigtohill L-3680, turn left and then take the next left turn on to the L-3617 Carrigane road, continue along this over the rail bridge at Ballyadam and then turn left on to the L-7639.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Má tá tú ag druidim leis an dúnadh ón Tuaisceart ar L3606 Bun an Stó, lean ar aghaidh ag dul i dtreo Sráidbhaile Charraig Thuathail go dtí go mbuaileann tú leis an T-acomhal atá ann le príomhshráid Charraig Thuathail L-3680. Cas ar chlé ansin agus tóg an chéad chasadh eile ar chlé ar an L-3617 bóthar an Charragáin, lean ar aghaidh feadh an bhóthair seo thar an droichead iarnróid ag Baile Adaim agus cas ar chlé ansin ar an L-7639.
