TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:

 

West Cork International Rally 2023

Saturday 18^th March 2023 – Sunday 19^th March 2023

 

Sunday 19^th March 2023

 

Stage 11 & 14 Ardfield Stage (11:00hrs to 19:00hrs)

 

Roads Subject of Closure:

L-8021-0, L-8049-0, L-4007-0, L-8028-0, L-8027-0, L-4008-0, L-4009-0, L-4006-23, L-40064-0, L-8034-0, L-4009-26, L-4011-0, L-4010-0, L-4011-22, L-4010-41, L-4010-61.

From R598 junction at Tulligee to Dunmore Road junction end of Long Causeway at Pallas.

(via Knockaphonery, Creagh Beg, Carrigroe, Clonlea, Camus,  Kilkeran, Donoure, Ganniv More, Ganniv Beg, Dunowen, Ballyva, Farran, Greenanes, Balteenbrack, Dunnycove, Mountain Common, Duneen, Dunmore, Muckruss, Rineen, Lonagh, Drombeg).

 

Alternative Routes:

 

Alternative access to local roads via R598-50, N71 and L-4011-62.

 

 In addition, all adjoining public roads will be closed for a distance of 205 metres from the junctions with the roads listed above.
