TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:

 

West Cork International Rally 2023

Saturday 18^th March 2023 – Sunday 19^th March 2023

 

Saturday 18^th March 2023

 

Stages 5 & 7 Ring Stage (12:45hrs to 19:50hrs)

 

Roads Subject of Closure:

L-4015-0, L-4015-4 (Part), L-8093-0, L-4020-0 (Part), L-4025-25 (Part), L-8102-0, L-8101-0 (Part), L-4018-39 (Part), L-4018-16 (Part), L-40182-0, L-4019-0 (Part), L-4019-33 (Part).

(via Desert, Curraghgrane More, Curraghgrane Beg, Arundel Mills, Ahidelake, South Ring, Lakenduff, Maulmore, Ballinaglanna, Ardgehane, Currahy, Grange Beg, Ardgehane, Trieneens, Ballymacwilliams East, Maulmacredmond, Aghafoe, Grange Beg, Grange More).

 

Alternative Routes:

 

Alternative access to local roads via R600 and R601.

 

In addition, all adjoining public roads will be closed for a distance of 205 metres from the junctions with the roads listed above.
