Road Closure - L3234 Bandon Road, Kinsale from Thursday 2nd to Friday 3rd July 2026 to facilitate a water connection to a new development.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-3234 Bandon Road, Kinsale, Co. Cork

Period of Closure

From 08.00hrs on Thursday 2^nd July 2026 to 18.00hrs Friday 3^rd July 2026 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate a water connection to a new development.

Alternative Routes

Vehicles travelling north will travel via the L-7250 Rock Road, then turn left onto the R-605 & then left onto the L-3234 Bandon Road. Vehicles travelling south will divert left onto the R-605, turn right to continue on the R-605, continue onto the R-605 before travelling onto the L-3234 at Market St/Market Square, continue onto the L-9715 Church St, then left onto the the L-9715 Church Lane, then right onto the L-3234 Friar's Gate & then left onto the Bandon Road.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
