TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

Road Subject of Closure

L4215-0, Lurriga Rd, Skibbereen, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 00:01hrs on Monday, 31^st August, 2026 to 23:59hrs on Friday, 25^th September, 2026 (24hr Closure)

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of a pumping chamber.

Alternative Routes

Southbound turn right onto L42151-0, left onto R593 Mill Rd and left onto N71.

Signage in place at all entry points.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
