Road Closure - L4631 Kilmeen from Tuesday 7th July to Friday 14th August 2026 to facilitate Road Recycling and Resurfacing.

De bhun Alt 75 d'Acht na mBóithre 1993, agus Airteagal 12 de Rialacháin na mBóithre 1994, tugtar fógra leis seo go ndúnfaidh Comhairle Contae Chorcaí an bóthar seo a leanas ar feadh na tréimhse agus ar an gcúis a shonraítear thíos:

Ó 08:00 go dtí 20:00 (Dúnadh Laethúil) idir Dé Máirt, an 7 Iúil 2026 agus Dé hAoine, an 14 Lúnasa 2026. (Ag brath ar an aimsir – tógfaidh na hoibreacha thart ar 10 lá).

Bealach Atreoraithe: Ag teacht ó thaobh an Fhéil/Bhéal Átha Fhínín, ní mór don trácht taisteal siar feadh an L4632 go dtí Béal na Carraige agus casadh ar chlé ar an L4633 roimh dhó leanúint ar aghaidh ag dul ó dheas ar an L4635 chomh fada leis an acomhal atá ann leis an R599-109. Lean ar aghaidh ag dul ó dheas chomh fada leis an acomhal atá ann leis an L4631-84, fan ar chlé agus lean ar aghaidh ag dul ó thuaidh go dtí Sráidbhaile an Rois Mhóir.

ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Roads Subject of Closure

L4631- 40, 56 ,72 (Part) – in the townlands Caherkirky, Kilbeloge, Currabeg, Knockacullen, Kilmeen, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 8:00hrs to 20:00hrs (Daily Closure) from Tuesday 7^th July 2026 to Friday 14^th August 2026 (Weather permitting – works will take approximately 10 days).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate: Road Recycling and Resurfacing.

Alternative Routes

Diversion Route: From Phale/ Ballineen side, traffic travel west along the L4632 to Ballinacarriga and turn left L4633 and continue south L4635 to junction with R599-109. continue south until junction with L4631-84, keep left, north to Rossmore Village.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
