Road Closure - R590/R585 at Cliffords Junction, Crookstown from Monday 13th to Friday 24th July 2026 (7pm to 6am) to facilitate Road Resurfacing.

Trácht nach trácht HGV é – Téigh ar mhalairt slí tríd an R-590 go dtí Céim X agus téigh soir feadh an N22 chomh fada le hAcomhal an R-585 agus ó dheas isteach go dtí an Baile Gallda.

Trácht HGV - Téigh ar mhalairt slí ó thuaidh ag an nGleann ar an R-587 trí Chill Mhichíl. Lean an R-584 ag Droichead na Toinne chomh fada le Crois Uí Airtnéada. Lean an R-618 soir go dtí Timpeallán Chúil Chomhair. Glac an N22 Soir chomh fada le hacomhal an R-590 ag an mBaile Gallda.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Roads Subject of Proposed Closure

R-590/R-585 at Cliffords Junction, Crookstown, Co. Cork.

Period of Proposed Closure

From 19:00hrs to 06:00hrs (Nightly Closure) from Monday 13^th July 2026 to Friday 24^th July 2026.

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Road Resurfacing.

Alternative Routes

Non HGV Traffic – Divert via R-590 to Stage X and east along the N22 to the R-585 Junction and south into Crookstown.

HGV Traffic- At Glaun divert north onto R-587 through Kilmichael. At Toons Bridge follow the R-584 through to Hartnetts Cross. Follow the R-618 east to Coolcower Roundabout. Tke the N22 East to junction of R-590 at Crookstown.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
