Road Closure - L5528 Coolcaum from Monday 15th June to Friday 18th September 2026 to facilitate Laying ducting with the interconnector for Ballyroe Solar Farm.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

L5528-41 Coolcaum, Co. Cork

Period of Closure

From 07:30hrs to 18.00hrs (Daily Closure) on Monday, 15^th June, 2026 to Friday, 18^th September, 2026.

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Laying ducting associated with the interconnector for the Ballyroe Solar Farm.

Alternative Routes

From the junction of the N20 and the L1324-0 travel along the following roads L1307-39, L1307-00, L1306-19, L5526-0, L5526-22, L1320-62, L1320-38 (through Churchtown), continuing onto the L1320-24, L1320-0 rejoining the N20.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
