TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:-

Roads Subject of Closure

R880 (Part) Pearse Street, Clonakilty, Co. Cork - from its junction with L-4039-0 at Rossa Street (Ashe Street) to its junction with L-4040-1 at Oliver Plunkett Street/Bridge Street.

L-4039-0 Rossa Street/Connolly Street, Clonakilty, Co. Cork - from its junction with R880 Pearse Street to its junction with N71 Casement Street.

Period of Closure

From 07.00hrs to 20.00hrs (Daily Closure) on Saturday, 4^th July, 2026.

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the holding of Clonakilty Old Time Fair.

Alternative Routes

Ashe Street to Oliver Plunket Street via L-4031-0 McCurtain Hill, L-4037-0 Old Chapel Lane and L-4040-0 Patrick Street.

Local Access will not be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
