Road Closure - L2004 Barrack Cross to Boxers Cross, Kilmurry from Wednesday 29th July to Tuesday 1st September 2026 to facilitate Road Resurfacing.

Chun Oibreacha Athdhromchlaithe Bóthair a éascú.

Trácht ag dul ó thuaidh: Gabh ó dheas ar feadh an L-2004 chun bualadh leis an R-585 arís. Lean an R-585 soir agus ó thuaidh go dtí an Baile Gallda. Gabh siar ó thuaidh ar an R-590 chun bualadh leis an N22. Lean an N22 siar trí Lios Ardachaidh. Gabh ó dheas ar an L-2004 go Cill Mhuire.

Beidh feidhm ag na treoracha seo san ord contrártha agus trácht ag dul ó dheas.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-2004 Barrack Cross to Boxers Cross, Kilmurry, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 08.00hrs to 20.00hrs (Daily Closure) on Wednesday 29^th July 2026 to Tuesday 1^st September 2026.

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Road Resurfacing.

Alternative Routes

Northbound Traffic: Travel south along L-2004 to rejoin R-585. Follow R-585 east and north to Crookstown. Take the R-590 north west to join the N22. Follow the N22 west through Lissarda. Take the L-2004 south to Kilmurry.

The same route works in the opposite direction for south bound traffic.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
