Road Closure - L1203 Ballyclogh Village to Kennel Hill, Mallow from Wednesday 1st to Friday 17th July 2026 to facilitate Road Re-Surfacing Works

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:-

L-1203-30 / L-1203-52 / L-1203-74 Ballyclogh Village to Kennel Hill, Mallow, Co Cork

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Wednesday 1^st July 2026 to 17:00hrs on Friday 17^th July 2026

(24hr Closure)

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Road Re-Surfacing Works

Alternative Routes

North-west (Ballyclogh) bound traffic from Mallow should remain on the N-72 Navigation Road, Westbound, turn right onto the L-1206-0, continue to Forge Cross and turn right to L-1203-30 Ballyclogh Village>>

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

The works associated with this closure will take approx. 1 week to be completed and these works will be undertaken within the above timeframe.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Ba cheart don trácht atá ag dul thiar ó thuaidh (Baile Cloch) ó Mhala fanacht ar an N-72 Navigation Road, i dtreo an Iarthair, casadh ar dheis ar an L-1206-0, leanúint ar aghaidh go dtí Forge Cross agus casadh ar dheis ar an L-1203-30 Sráidbhaile Bhaile Cloch.

Tá an bealach atreoraithe a luaitear infheidhme droim ar ais nuair atá tú ag taisteal an treo eile.

Tógfaidh sé thart ar sheachtain amháin chun na hoibreacha a bhaineann leis an dúnadh seo a chur i gcrích agus tabharfar faoi na hoibreacha seo laistigh den tréimhse thuas.
