TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

Road Subject of Closure

L-4002-34 Tullyneasky West, Clonakilty, Co Cork.

Period of Closure

From 07:00hrs to 18.00hrs (Daily Closure) on Monday, 3^rd August, 2026 to Friday, 14^th August, 2026.

Reason for Closure

To facilitate construction of a new underground duct route.

Alternative Routes

Travelling East at Tullyneasky West Four Cross Roads take L-4003-0 South to junction N71. Take N71 East to junction with the L-4002-34 at the Curragh.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
