ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-2216 Creche Unit, Páirc Brouen, Coolmucky, Cloughduv, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 19:00hrs to 07:00hrs (Nightly Closure) from Monday 8^th June 2026 to Thursday 11^th June 2026.

Reason for Closure

To facilitate a water and wastewater connection for a new development.

Alternative Routes

Eastbound Traffic: At Pound Cross, Crookstown remain on the R-585 and travel north to the N22. Travel east along the N22 to Ryecourt junction and follow the L-2205 south into Cloughduv.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Trácht Soir: Ag Crois an Phóna, an Baile Gallda - fan ar an R-585 agus taisteal ó thuaidh go dtí an N22. Taisteal soir feadh an N22 chomh fada le hacomhal Inis Chiaráin agus lean an L-2205 ó dheas isteach go dtí an Chloch Dhubh.
