URGENT TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, and Article 12 (6), in Part 8 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that the urgent closure of the road as detailed below is necessary, in the interests of public safety.

L-4612-0 Local road at Goulacullin, Dunmanway, Co. Cork
Period of Urgent Closure
From 00.01hrs on Friday, 26th June 2026 to 23.59hrs on Thursday, 24th December, 2026
(24 hour Closure).
Reason for Urgent Closure
To facilitate Repairs to collapsed section of road.
Alternative Routes
Via the R585 (Kealkill) to Shanacrane/Keenrath and southeast to Farnanes.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
You should note that this Urgent Closure does not facilitate the making of objections/observations.
