Road Closure - L2484 Diamond Hill and L2474 Glen Road, Monkstown from Monday 27th July to Friday 30th October 2026 to facilitate new storm , sewer mains.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:

Roads Subject of Closure

L2484 Diamond Hill and L2474 Glen Road, Monkstown, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 00:00hrs on Monday 27^th July 2026 to 23:59hrs on Friday 30^th October 2026 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of new storm and sewer mains and connection to existing mains.

Alternative Routes

Diversion route from the north from the L2483 Scotsmans Road on to the L2480 Carrigmahon Road on to the R610 Strand Road.

Diversion route from the east from the R610 Strand Road on to L2480 Carrigmahon Road and on to L2483 Scotsmans Road.

Local Access will not be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
