Road Closure - L1244 Churchview/Sandfield, Mallow from Monday 20th July to Friday 21st August 2026 to facilitate Road Re-Surfacing Works.

Ar an R-619, lean ar aghaidh ag taisteal i dtreo an oirthir ar an R-619 go dtí an t-acomhal atá ann leis an R-620-28, Droichead Mhala. Ag Droichead Mhala, cas ar dheis ar an R-620-28 (Baile Dáithín/Bóthar Chorcaí) agus lean ar aghaidh go dtí an tAcomhal atá ann leis an L-1244-0.

Tá an bealach atreoraithe a luaitear infheidhme droim ar ais nuair atá tú ag taisteal an treo eile.

Tógfaidh sé thart ar 5 lá chun na hoibreacha a bhaineann leis an dúnadh seo a chur i gcrích agus tabharfar faoi na hoibreacha seo le linn na tréimhse thuas.

Coinneofar Rochtain Áitiúil fad is a bheidh an dúnadh bóthair i bhfeidhm.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-1244-0 Churchview/Sandfield, Mallow, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs (Daily Closure) from Monday 20^th July 2026 to Friday 21^st August 2026.

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Road Re-Surfacing Works.

Alternative Routes

On R-619 continue travelling east-bound on R-619 to junction with R-620-28, Mallow Bridge. At Mallow Bridge turn right to R-620-28 (Ballydaheen/Cork Road) and continue to Junction with L-1244-0.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

The works associated with this closure will take approx. 5 days to be completed and these works will be undertaken within the above timeframe.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
