Ba cheart don trácht atá ag taisteal i dtreo an iarthair ar an N28, a bhfuil fonn air rochtain a fháil ar áiteanna atá ar an taobh theas den dúnadh, leanúint ar aghaidh i dtreo an iarthair feadh an N28 agus casadh ar chlé ar Fernhill Road (L2490) agus leanúint ar aghaidh i dtreo an deiscirt.

Ba cheart don trácht atá ag taisteal ó thuaidh ar Fernhill Road (L2490), a bhfuil fonn air úsáid a bhaint as Cogans Road chun rochtain a fháil ar an N28, leanúint ar aghaidh i dtreo an tuaiscirt feadh an L2490 chomh fada le hacomhal an N28 agus casadh ar dheis ar an N28 ansin.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L6472- Cogans Road, Carrigaline, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 08.00hrs on Tuesday 7^th July 2026 to 16:00hrs on Friday 7^th August 2026. (24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate installation of Electrical Ducts and joint Bay Chamber as part of Ballinrea Solar Farm Project.

Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling westbound on N28, wishing to access locations south of the closure, should proceed in a westerly direction along the N28 and turn left on to Fernhill Road (L2490) and proceed in a southerly direction.

Traffic travelling northbound on Fernhill Road (L2490) wishing to utilise Cogans Road to access N28, should proceed in a northerly direction along the l2490 to the junction of the N28 and then turn right on to N28.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
