TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

L-5629 Labbamolaga East, Co. Cork

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday, 21st September, 2026 to 08.00hrs on Sunday, 27th September, 2026 (24hr Closure)

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of a cattle underpass.

Alternative Routes

Travel southbound along the L-5628 (Labbamolaga West), turn left onto the R517 (Gortroe) and continue onwards.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
