Road Closure - L3652 Lower Aghada from Monday 4th to Friday 15th December 2023 to facilitate Uisce Éireann Connection and Developer Services Works

ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

Road Subject of Closure

L-3652-0 Lower Aghada, Co. Cork - from 3 Crossroads South of Aghada Pier (R-630, L-3652) to four crossroads with Yankee Road (L-3651, L-3652).

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 4^th December to 18:00hrs on Friday 15^th December 2023 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Uisce Éireann Connection and Developer Services Works, Wastewater connection for Harbours Edge.

Alternative Routes

Phase 1 – Closure of short section of L3652 at Junction of R630. Divert onto L-3658 (Heartbreak Hill) continue uphill turning right on to L-3653 (Hillside), continue to junction with R-630. Proposed Dates (04/12/23 - 08/12/23).

Phase 2 – Closure of L3652 near Harbours Edge. Stay on L3651 to its junction with R-630. Proposed Dates (11/12/23 - 15/12/23).

Alternative routes are also applicable in reverse.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Céim 1 – Dúnadh an stráice ghearr den L3652 ag an Acomhal leis an R630. Téigh ar mhalairt slí ar an L-3658 (Heartbreak Hill), lean ar aghaidh in aghaidh an chnoic agus cas ar dheis ar an L-3653 (Hillside) agus lean ar aghaidh go dtí an t-acomhal atá leis an R-630. Dátaí Molta (04/12/23 - 08/12/23).

Céim 2 – Dúnadh an L3652 in aice le Harbours Edge. Fan ar an L3651 go dtí an t-acomhal atá aige leis an R-630. Dátaí Molta (11/12/23 - 15/12/23).

Tá na bealaí malartacha infheidhme droim ar ais nuair atá tú ag taisteal an treo eile.
