Road Closure - L3811 Lisglasheen, Killeagh from Monday 2nd to Friday 20th December 2024 to facilitate ducting works for the Celtic Interconnector Project.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-3811, Lisglasheen, Killeagh, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 06:00hrs on Monday 2^nd December 2024 to 18:00hrs on Friday 20^th December 2024 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of ducting as part of the Celtic Interconnector Project

Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling Eastbound from Castlemartyr to Killeagh, continue through Killeagh Village towards Youghal and at the next road to the right take the L7857-0 at Burgess, follow along that road until a T junction, turn right onto the L7856-0, this will bring you on to the L3811-0.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
