Road Closure - L4712 Ardngeehy, Bantry from Monday 20th November to Tuesday 12th December 2023 to facilitate the installation of a new watermain.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-4712-0 Ardngeehy, Bantry, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 20^th November 2023 to 18:00hrs on Tuesday 12^th December 2023. (24hr Closure)

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of a new watermain.

Alternative Routes

From the east side of the road closure: Continue into Bantry town on the L-4711. Turn left onto N71 (Glengarriff Road), towards the town Square. Turn left onto New St. and onto Bridge St. (L-4754). Continue onto Chapel St. and School Road (L-4752). Finally continue out on the L-4709 towards Ardnageehy. End of diversion at the junction with the L-4712.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Ón taobh thoir den dúnadh bóthair: Lean ar aghaidh ag dul isteach go baile Bheanntraí ar an L-4711. Cas ar chlé ar an N71 (Bóthar an Ghleanna Ghairbh), i dtreo Chearnóg an bhaile. Cas ar chlé ar an tSráid Nua agus ar Shráid an Droichid (L-4754). Lean ar aghaidh ar Shráid an tSéipéil agus ar Bhóthar na Scoile (L-4752). Ag an deireadh ar fad, lean ar aghaidh ag dul amach ar an L-4709 i dtreo Ard na Gaoithe. Críochnófar an t-atreorú ag an acomhal atá ann leis an L-4712.
