Road Closure - R600 Burren Road, Kilbrittain from Monday 7th October to Friday 8th November 2024 to facilitate road embankment stabilization works.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

R600 Burren Coast Road, Kilbrittain,Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 08.00hrs on Monday 7^th October 2024 to 18.00hrs on Friday 8^th November 2024.

(24hr Closure)

Reason for Closure

To facilitate road embankment stabilization works

Alternative Routes

Travelling west along the R600 approaching Garranafeen causeway, divert along the R603 to Bandon, follow diversion along N71 and onto R602 at Roundhill Service Station (Bandon) for Timoleague until it intersects the R600 at the

coast road at Timoleague.

Local access will be maintained.

Alternatively this route can be travelled in reverse

Má tá tú ag taisteal i dtreo an iarthair feadh an R600 ag druidim le Cabhsa Gharrán Finn, téigh ar mhalairt slí feadh an R603 chomh fada le Droichead na Bandan. Lean an t-atreorú feadh an N71 agus ar aghaidh ansin ar an R602 ag Ionad Seirbhísí Dhoire Salach (Droichead na Bandan) i dtreo Thigh Molaige go dtí go dtéann sé trasna ar an R600 ar bhóthar an chósta ag Tigh Molaige.
