TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

R-908 Front Strand, Youghal, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 16:00hrs to 04:00hrs (Nightly Closure) from Monday 16^th December 2024 to Monday 23^rd December 2024.

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of ducting as part of the Celtic Interconnector Project.

Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling Eastbound on the R634 approaching Youghal Town, continue straight through Summerfield Cross towards Town Centre until the next road to the right the L-38221-0 through McCurtainstown, at the T junction take the road to the right along the R908-0.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Ní mór don trácht atá ag taisteal i dtreo an Oirthir ar an R634 agus é ag druidim le Baile Eochaille leanúint díreach ar aghaidh trí Chros Ghort an tSamhraidh i dtreo Lár an Bhaile go dtí go dtógfar an chéad bhóthar eile ar dheis, an L-38221-0, trí McCurtainstown agus tóg an bóthar ar dheis feadh an R908-0 nuair a bhuaileann tú leis an T-acomhal.
