Road Closure - L6013 Coolanaugh, Newcestown from Monday 6th November to Friday 1st December 2023 to facilitate Watermain Construction.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-6013-0 Coolanaugh, Newcestown, Co. Cork - from the village to Ballinvoher Four Crossroads (Works area from the village to L-6014-0 Junction).

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 6^th November 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 1^st December 2023 (24 Hour).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Watermain Construction.

Alternative Routes

Traffic intending to access the L-6013-0 at the village shall divert north-east along the L-2009-52 and follow the road past Mossgrove Crossroads onto L-2011-20. Turn left at Glannarouge Crossroads onto L-2006-20 and follow the road to approach the opposite side of the road closure at Ballinvoher Four Crossroads.

The stated diversion is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will not be maintained where possible. An access route to the school will be maintained.

Cas ar chlé ag Crosaire Ghleann na Ruaige chuig an L-2006-20 agus lean an bóthar chun teacht amach ar an taobh eile den dúnadh bóthair ag Crosaire Bhaile an Bhóthair.

Beidh feidhm ag an malairt slí seo san ord contrártha agus trácht ag taisteal sa treo eile.
