Road Closure - L1210 Newberry, Drommahane from Tuesday 3rd to Saturday 7th December 2024 to facilitate the Upgrading and Repair of Railway Infrastructure.

ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

Road Subject of Closure

L-1210-0 Newberry, Drommahane, Co. Cork.

Period of Closure

From 10:00 hrs on Tuesday 3^rd December 2024 to 15:00 hours on Saturday 7^th December 2024 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the Upgrading and Repair of Railway Infrastructure.

Alternative Routes

East-Bound (Drommahane) traffic at Thullery Cross turn right to L-1212 and continue to Drommahane Village, turn left to R-619 and continue to R-621 at Newberry Cross.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
