TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Closure

L-93081-0 (Part of) West Square, Macroom, Co. Cork - east side only from its junction with the R618 to its junction with South Square L-9308-0.

Period of Closure

From 00:00hrs to 23:59hrs on Tuesday 10^th December 2024 (one day only).

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Free Market in West Square, Macroom.

Alternative Routes

Travelling Eastbound on the R618, at the junction of the L-93081-0 West Square and the R618, continue East along the R618. Turn right onto L-9308-0 South Square, continue West and turn right onto the L-93081-0 West Square and continue to the junction with the R618.

Travelling Westbound on the R618, at the junction of the L-9308-0 South Square and the R618, turn left onto the L-9308-0 South Square, continue West and turn right onto the L-93081-0 West Square and continue to the junction with the R618.

No local access during road closure.
