Note: - Temporary Traffic Management in Operation - Expect Delays. Please use Alternative Route where possible. Parking Restrictions will be in place to facilitate completion of the works.

Re: Road Resurfacing

To Whom It May Concern,

As you may be aware, resurfacing works will soon be carried out on sections of Pearse Square, Patricks St, and Courthouse Road in Fermoy Town. These works are scheduled to commence on Monday, 4th November 2024, and are expected to last for approximately four weeks. The resurfacing will take place during the night, between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am, Monday to Friday.

A flagman traffic management system will be in place throughout the project. There will be limited on-street vehicular access for parking, and we kindly request that no vehicles are parked in areas where works are being carried out overnight. This will help avoid further delays in completing the works.

Please refer to the street location drawing overleaf, which outlines the proposed phasing of the works and the anticipated dates for each phase of the works. Please note that these dates are provisional and may change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen delays.

We advise all residents and businesses to familiarize themselves with the resurfacing plans and related works, such as road markings and raising services and allow additional time for any journeys. Please also be mindful of restricted parking in affected areas. Flagmen will be there to assist pedestrians and vulnerable road users.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will make every effort to complete the works as quickly as possible. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. An engineer and a traffic management foreman will be present on-site to address any queries for the duration of the works.
