Road Closure - L5827 Newtown, Ballynoe from Monday 24th July to Friday 18th August 2023 to facilitate the Installation of a Watermain.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Closure
L-5827 (Part of) Newtown, Ballynoe, Co. Cork.
Period of Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 24th July, 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 18th August, 2023 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a Watermain.
Alternative Routes
For traffic heading south, continue southwards on L-1529 towards the R627. Turn left onto R627 towards Tallow. At the L-7800/ R627 junction, turn left onto L-7800 and continue to L-5827.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
