TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

 

Road Subject of Closure

M8 Motorway – Junction 14 Northbound on ramp on the M8 Motorway, Fermoy, Co. Cork.

 

Periods of Closure

1.         From 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs (Nightly Closure) on Wednesday 12^th April 2023 to Friday 14^th April 2023.

 

AND

 

2.         From 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs (Nightly Closure) on Monday 17^th April 2023 to Wednesday 19^th April 2023.

 

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Renew filter drain works.

 

Alternative Routes

Divert to Northbound on ramp at Junction 13 on the M8 motorway via the R639 (Old Dublin Road)
