Road Closure - L2203 Farran from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th May 2023 (8.30am to 6pm daily) to facilitate Road Resurfacing.

ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

 

Road Subject of Closure

L-2203 (part – Farran Cross north to junction with L-2202), Farran, Co. Cork.

 

Period of Closure

From 08:30hrs to 18:00hrs (Daily Closure) on Tuesday 2^nd May 2023 to Friday 5^th May 2023.

 

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Road Resurfacing.

 

Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling north:  At southern side of Farran Village stay on the L-2204 and travel east to the junction with the R-619 at Leary’s Cross.   Follow the R-619 north to the junction of the L-2202 at Rooves Bridge.  Follow the L-2202 west until it meets the L-2203.

 

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

 

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
