Road Closure - L1023 Coolclogh/Garraveasogre, Kanturk from Monday 23rd January to Friday 21st April 2023 to facilitate the installation of new watermain.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

L-1023 Coolclogh/Garraveasogre, Kanturk, Co. Cork.
Period of Closure
From 08.000hrs on Monday 23rd January 2023 to 18.00hrs on Friday 21st April 2023.

Reason for Closure
To facilitate the installation of new watermain.
Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling from Mill Road/Paal divert left onto the L-1024 towards Dromalour. At Dromalour junction turn right onto the R579 towards Banteer. Continue on the R579 to Ballymaquirk Cross. At Ballymaquirk turn right onto the N72 towards Killarney/Rathmore. Continue on the N72 and turn right onto the L-1128 at Angland’s Filling Station. Continue on the L-1128 to rejoin the L-1023.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
