Road Closure - L1529 Ballynoe Village to Ballinscurloge from Monday 12th June to Friday 4th August 2023 to facilitate the Installation of a New Watermain.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Closure
L-1529 - from Ballynoe Village to Ballinscurloge, Co. Cork.
Period of Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 12th June, 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 4th August, 2023 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a New Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling northwards to Ballynoe Village, will divert via Tallow, R627. Turn left in Tallow onto R628 and finally turn left onto L-1530 towards Ballynoe Village at Conna Crossroads. The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
