Road Closure - L8317 Ardagh East, Rosscarbery from Monday 20th March to Friday 5th May 2023 to facilitate the installation of a new watermain.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

 

Road Subject of Closure

L8317-0, Ardagh East, Rosscarbery, Co. Cork.

 

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 20^th March 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 5^th May 2023.

(24hr Closure).

 

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of a new watermain.

 

Alternative Routes

Continue northwards towards Skibbereen on the N71.  Take the next right at the N71/ L-4244 junction onto L-4244 and continue to L-8317 junction.

 

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

 

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
