TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:

 

West Cork International Rally 2023

Saturday 18^th March 2023 – Sunday 19^th March 2023

 

Sunday 19^th March 2023

 

Stages 10 & 13 Sam’s Cross Stage (10:20hrs to 18:10hrs)

 

Roads Subject of Closure:

L80041-0, L8004-0, L8003-24, L8007-0(Part), L8006-20, L8006, L4240-18(Part), L4240-46(Part), L-8014-0, L-4002-20, L-8014-8, L-40025-0, L4003-0, L4003-19(Part), L8010-0, L8010-15

From Junction L80041-0 and L4638-28 off the R599 at Coolnaconarty to junction L-8010-15 and R599 at Ballyduvane.

(via Farlehanes, Coolnaconarty, Knocks, Bealad West, Derrybaun, Castleventry, Maulvirane, Foxhall, Freahanes, Cahermore, Froe, Derryduff, Tullyneasky West, Woodfield, Garralacka, Ballyvackey).

 

Alternative Routes:

 

Alternative access to local roads via L-4639-0 and R599.

 

In addition, all adjoining public roads will be closed for a distance of 205 metres from the junctions with the roads listed above.
