TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:

 

West Cork International Rally 2023

Saturday 18^th March 2023 – Sunday 19^th March 2023

 

Saturday 18^th March 2023

Stages 2 & 4 Ballinascarty Stage (09:10hrs to 15:50hrs)

 

Roads Subject of Closure:

L-6032-15, L-6032-0 (Part), L-6031-0, L-6030-0 (Part), L-20151-0, L-2015-23 (Part), L-2016-0 (Part), L-6025-0, L-8072-29(Part), L-8071-0 (Part), L-8067-261, L-8067-0 (Part), L-8069-0 (Part), L-8070-0, L-4033-15.

(via Knocknanuss, Lisnacunna, Garranelahan, Knocknastooka, Maulbrack West, Maulbrack East, Maulbrack West, Boulteen, Kilrush, Breaghna, Kilnameela, Ballyvoige, Kilnameela, Killeen, Maurour, Crohane, Crohane West, Crohane East, Crohane West, Crohane.)

 

Alternative Routes:

 

Alternative access to local roads via N71, L-4032, and R588 link.

In addition, all adjoining public roads will be closed for a distance of 205 metres from the junctions with the roads listed above.
